Maintenance Technician Needed for Multifamily Property in Mission, SF

San Francisco, CA (Mid-Market)

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician at The Madelon, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the physical integrity, curb appeal, and day-to-day upkeep of the property. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and service team to:

• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with professionalism and courtesy
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Complete apartment turns and repairs to ensure timely, high-quality move-ins
• Troubleshoot and resolve facilities issues with minimal disruption to residents
• Assist with groundskeeping and cleanliness of common areas and amenities
• Maintain a safe and organized maintenance shop and inventory
• Support after-hours emergency maintenance response on a rotating schedule
• Communicate clearly with the onsite team to report issues, delays, or safety concerns

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential, hotel, or multifamily settings
• Strong working knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
• Experience in luxury or high-end environments preferred
• Positive, customer-first attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• EPA Certification or relevant trade licenses a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and be on your feet for extended periods
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to property emergencies
