Description

We are seeking a Community Manager to support our properties. You will assist all maintenance requests across our Align sites!

What You’ll Do

The Community Manager is the operational backbone of our properties. You own the day-to-day across our Align sites — from leasing tours and resident relations to team oversight and financial reporting. This is a hands-on, front-of-house leadership role requiring strong organizational instincts, comfort with property management software, and a service-first mindset.

Leasing & Occupancy

  • Manage the tour path and conduct leasing tours end-to-end
  • Execute timely prospect follow-ups and handle intake at the first point of contact
  • Review comps regularly to identify pricing opportunities
  • Coordinate and physically assist with move-ins and move-outs
  • Complete move-in/move-out checklists and walk vacant units
  • Sign leases via Bluemoon; conduct in-person renewal conversations (supported by Elise AI)

Operations & Compliance

  • Post 3-Day Notices as required
  • Walk the property and review onsite checklists daily (e.g., Do It Daily)
  • Sort and triage the distribution inbox daily — flag items for the remote team, assign tasks, and forward invoices appropriately
  • Complete basic accrual reviews (approve/deny with receipts)
  • Scan checks via KAI; input and receive POs via Payscan (approver role)
  • File incident reports as needed
  • Maintain front-of-house organization; order office supplies via HD Yardi Marketplace

Financial & Reporting

  • Conduct tenant ledger audits and issue credits where applicable
  • Complete the Daily Report using the internal template (internal + client-facing versions)
  • Perform basic accrual review and receipt reconciliation

Team & Resident Management

  • Approve team timesheets via Gusto
  • Lead team huddles and track KPIs
  • Respond to escalated resident matters (Level 2)
  • Contribute leasing and review narrative for weekly/monthly reporting

Lease Administration & Compliance

  • Prepare and execute lease agreements accurately and in compliance with company policy, local regulations, and fair housing law.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in residential property management, leasing, or a related field
  • Experience with Yardi (or comparable PMS); Bluemoon, Gusto, or Payscan familiarity a plus
  • Comfortable working across multiple software platforms simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication; professional presence with residents and ownership
  • Highly organized with the ability to self-prioritize in a fast-moving environment
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to get hands-on when needed

Perks

  • Compensation commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive benefits
  • Opportunities for career advancement within the AREM portfolio
  • Supportive team environment with clear performance expectations and regular feedback
