Job Location:

  • This is a 100% remote position, but not virtual. For team collaboration and bonding reasons, the candidate will ideally be located in one of the following cities:  Sacramento, CA; Turlock, CA (headquarters); Los Angeles, CA; or Columbus, OH. 

This position reports to the Associate Director, Project Management and Culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various projects, including strategy, creative concepts, logo and naming exploration, website development, social media and advertising campaigns
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs 
  • Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools (Workamajig) and techniques to track hours estimated, actual hours and deadlines and report and escalate when appropriate
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, i.e. project workbooks, status docs and project management system timelines.
  • Delegate project tasks based on co-workers individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills through open communication, strategic thinking, flexibility and organization
  • Lead daily/weekly stand-ups and meetings
  • Insure proofing and quality control
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
  • Maintain, coordinate and traffic files among agency, production partners, and client
  • Administrative duties that contribute to agency operations, (i.e. timesheets, expense management, etc.) or other tasks as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years project management experience (agency preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, time management and multitasking 
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities
  • Deadline-driven individual
  • Food, beverage and/or agriculture experience a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom and Slack
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

AC&C is committed to fair pay practices. The projected annual salary for this position is $55,000 to $70,000. When preparing an offer, we consider the candidates resume, experience, interview feedback, internal equity, and location.
