Cafe Manager
• Lead a team of baristas by setting performance expectations and fostering a positive work environment.
• Willing and able to learn the history of Aldo’s and our production and quality standards and be able to relay this information to guests.
• Manage the cafe's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Take pride in creating and serving a diverse range of coffee and espresso beverages to meet the high standards at Aldo’s.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures, ensuring consistency in drink preparation and presentation.
• Interact with guests to provide recommendations, address concerns, and ensure an exceptional cafe experience.
• Handle scheduling, shift assignments, and performance evaluations for cafe staff.
• Collaborate with Operations to order milks, syrups, and other cafe essentials.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a management role is required.
• Previous experience as a barista is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Passion for coffee and an understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• Proven organizational abilities and attention to detail in managing cafe operations.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems (square) and basic computer applications.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.
$21 - $24 per hour
