Job Overview:
As an HVAC Technician at Air Care of New Jersey, Inc., you will be responsible for providing service and maintenance to commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
- Install, repair, and replace components, such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats
- Conduct regular system performance tests to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate and prioritize service calls
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and materials used
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and emergencies promptly and professionally
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- Valid HVAC technician certification or license
- Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including electrical, mechanical, and controls components
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
