Business Analyst (Salesforce)

Position Summary

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing our clients’ science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems and identifying the use cases and features to implement and improve on our information technology solutions. They will analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.


To ensure success as a Business Analyst, you should possess extensive knowledge of Salesforce system administration, experience in translating client requirements into Salesforce implementations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Business Analysts ensure that their Salesforce expertise translates into optimized WaterWays and POWERPATH functionality for AIQUEOUS clients.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products.
  • Coordinate the installation and integration of computer programs and systems, including AIQUEOUS products, third party applications, and app integrations.
  • Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles
  • Managing roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups within client Salesforce Instances
  • Test, maintain, and monitor various programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of programs and systems in relation to the WaterWays and POWERPATH Apps.
  • Use object-oriented programming languages, as well as client and server applications to assist with the development of processes and multimedia and Internet technology
  • Define the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams to describe the operational steps of programs
  • Document implement WaterWays and POWERPATH designs for client training and client staff onboarding, whether administrators or users.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is preferred, but not required if candidate possesses a minimum of 2+ years as a administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
  • Ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases, with knowledge of importing data sets and generating Salesforce reports
  • Strong computer and internet skills including all MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Experience and demonstrated comfortability working with computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, set up functions, enter data, or process information
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be efficient with strong attention to detail
  • Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving
  • Proven ability to manage projects
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment and confidentiality with sensitive information
