Mechanical Engineer – Autonomous Vehicles

Role Overview


We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and refine mechanical systems for our autonomous vehicles. This role demands hands-on engineering, CAD expertise, and problem-solving to push the boundaries of robotics, automation, and vehicle design.

 

Key Responsibilities


  • Design & Develop: Create and optimize mechanical systems for autonomous vehicles using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
  • Vehicle Integration: Apply knowledge of race cars, off-road vehicles, robotics, aerospace, or product development to enhance performance, durability, and efficiency.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Develop, fabricate, and iterate mechanical designs through hands-on prototyping and field testing.
  • Project Management: Lead multiple engineering projects from concept to deployment.
  • R&D & Innovation: Push design boundaries by researching new materials, manufacturing techniques, and automation solutions.

 

Basic Skills & Qualifications


  •  Proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical CAD modeling.
  •  Strong background in mechanical engineering, machine design, and structural analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in fabrication, prototyping, and testing.
  •  Electrical system knowledge (power systems, sensors, actuators, wiring) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or product development is a major plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

$90,000 - $140,000 per year
