Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
- Develop visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, email campaigns, infographics, presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials.
- Design and develop responsive websites, ensuring a user-friendly experience across devices. Work closely with developers to implement website updates, enhancements, and new designs.
- Ensure that all designs align with the company’s brand guidelines and visual identity, maintaining consistency across all channels and platforms.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to design user interfaces that are visually appealing and intuitive, enhancing the overall user experience on websites and apps.
- Create assets for digital marketing campaigns, including banner ads, landing pages, and email templates, optimized for performance and conversions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and development, to ensure that designs meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Keep up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to the design process.
- Assist in implementing design elements into website development projects, working with front-end developers to ensure seamless execution of designs.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print designs.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
- Basic web development knowledge, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and experience working with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to create user-friendly interfaces.
Skills Required:
- Graphic Design Expertise: Strong skills in creating high-quality graphics for both print and digital media, including advertisements, marketing materials, and website assets.
- Web Design & Development: Proficiency in designing and developing responsive websites, with basic knowledge of front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- UI/UX Design Skills: Ability to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that improve user experience across websites and apps.
- Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, with experience using tools like Figma or Sketch for web and UI design.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail in creating clean, cohesive designs that align with the company’s brand identity.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple design projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to present and explain design concepts to stakeholders and collaborate with developers.
- Creativity and Innovation: A creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas to design projects and solve design challenges innovatively.
- Basic Front-End Development Knowledge: Understanding of front-end development processes to facilitate collaboration with developers and ensure designs are properly executed.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot design issues and provide solutions to improve the overall functionality and aesthetic of websites.
- Operational Platforms: Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Google platform, including Google Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar, Chat, and Google Analytics.
- Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and non-standard information with discretion.
Physical Requirements:
This is a primarily desk-based position requiring prolonged periods of sitting and regular use of a computer, including typing and screen-based work. Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 10 pounds) may be required. The role may also involve occasional travel to other locations.
