This is a flexible part-time opportunity for experienced childcare workers who are comfortable working in different non-classroom childcare environments. Assignments may include Sunday church childcare, church nursery support, parent-night-out care, wedding or event childcare, and occasional family childcare placements.

Caregivers are matched with assignments based on availability, preferred locations, experience, and staffing needs.

Locations

Assignments may be available in:

Dallas, Rockwall, Southlake, Carrollton, Plano, and nearby DFW areas.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling opportunities.

Candidates should have availability for:

• Sunday childcare shifts weekly or every other Sunday
• One to two additional part-time shifts during the week or weekend
• Occasional event or family childcare assignments as available

Exact shift times may vary by assignment, location, event schedule, church program, or family need.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for children of various ages.
• Supervise children during church services, nursery programs, events, and family childcare assignments.
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, reading, games, crafts, music, and simple activities.
• Support snacks, restroom breaks, diapering assistance, transitions, and group routines as needed.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly childcare space.
• Follow parent instructions, church or event guidelines, safety procedures, and Agape policies.
• Communicate professionally with parents, church staff, event hosts, families, and the Agape team.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to provide dependable childcare support.

Qualifications

• Previous childcare experience is required.
• Experience as a babysitter, childcare worker, church nursery worker, event childcare assistant, nanny, daycare assistant, preschool assistant, camp counselor, or group childcare provider is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be dependable, patient, engaging, flexible, and professional.
• Must be comfortable working in church, event, and family childcare settings.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be able to complete required background screening.
• Reliable transportation is strongly preferred.

Compensation

Starting pay is $18 per hour depending on assignment type, experience, and staffing needs.

Additional part-time assignments may be offered to team members who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and consistent availability.
