About the Role:

Agape Sitters & Nannies is hiring warm, dependable, and toddler-loving sitters for our Labor Companion™ service — a unique on-call sibling care role designed to support families during delivery.

You’ll be matched with families expecting a new baby and provide loving care for older children when the parent goes into labor. You must be comfortable arriving during early mornings, late nights, or sudden changes — all part of birth day!

This is a part-time, flexible, on-call role best for caregivers who want to support moms with calm, professional care in real-life moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nurturing, attentive care for toddlers or young siblings during labor
• Arrive on-call during a 1–2 week window when the client may go into labor
• Enter home calmly and confidently — often in early hours or overnight
• Maintain a peaceful environment (snacks, books, nap/bedtime routines)
• Keep communication open with parents and agency

Ideal Candidate:

• 18-21+ years old
• At least 2 years of experience with toddlers or infants
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified)
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling, last-minute requests
• Patient, calm, excellent communicator
• Reliable transportation and backup plan in case of emergency
