About Agape Childcare Staffing

Agape Childcare Staffing places background-checked caregivers with churches, schools, companies, and events across Texas. We're building our Houston-area caregiver pool for as-needed bookings based on client demand.

Location: Houston, TX 77024

Pay: Starting at $18.00/hr

Job Type: Part-time, As-Needed / On-Call

Immediate Opportunity – September 26

We're hiring 5 caregivers for a one-day booking:

• Date: September 26
• Shift: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Location: Houston, TX 77024

Future bookings are not guaranteed and will depend on client need, but caregivers who do well are kept on file and considered first when new opportunities come up in the Houston area.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, age-appropriate supervision and care for children
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment during scheduled care hours
• Follow Agape's caregiver ratios and safety guidelines
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and Agape coordinators
• Arrive on time and prepared for each assigned shift

Requirements

• Prior childcare, teaching, or classroom experience preferred
• Comfortable working with infants through school-age children
• Reliable transportation to assigned location
• Able to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to actively engage with children, including sitting, standing, and moving throughout a shift
