Position Summary

Agape Mental Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing behavioral health care.

We are especially interested in a Nurse Practitioner with experience or interest in pediatric behavioral health, including working with children, adolescents, and families. A provider who can serve both adults and pediatric clients would be an excellent fit.

This role is ideal for someone who wants flexibility, clinical independence, and the opportunity to grow with a developing behavioral health organization.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner may provide:


  • Psychiatric evaluations
  • Medication management
  • Follow-up appointments
  • Treatment planning
  • Coordination with therapists and other care team members
  • Telehealth and/or in-person services
  • Timely clinical documentation
  • Communication with clients, families, and support staff as appropriate


Pediatric Behavioral Health Interest

Agape is actively seeking to expand services for children and adolescents. Experience with pediatric behavioral health is strongly preferred, including areas such as:


  • ADHD
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Autism-related behavioral health needs
  • Trauma-related symptoms
  • School-related behavioral concerns
  • Family support and caregiver communication
  • Medication management for children and teens

Candidates who primarily work with adults but are open to serving pediatric clients may also be considered.


Requirements

Qualified candidates should have:


  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or mental health care
  • Pediatric, child/adolescent, or family behavioral health experience preferred
  • Active NPI number
  • Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain it
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to use an EHR and telehealth platform
  • Availability for consistent weekly scheduling

  • At least one consistent day per week available
  • Some in-person availability
  • Interest in working with children, adolescents, or families
  • Flexibility to grow their schedule over time

Compensation

Salary

$72,000 - $197,600 per year
