Schedule: Flexible, up to 28 hours per week

Status: Part-time, hourly

Location: 100% virtual

Rate of Pay: $40-$45/hourly

About The Role And Your Impact 

As a Fee for Service, Clinician/Psychotherapist at AGAPE Family Therapy and Coaching, we are seeking psychotherapists who would like to obtain hours for their licensure with a Master Degree (LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, LCSW) are passionate about clinical work, goal directed and motivational starters. In this role, you will provide a variety of therapeutic interventions to treat children, adolescents, adults. Utilizing the following modalities of individual, family, group therapy and counseling for a variety of mental health issues. Must be able to maintain full compliance with documentation and have knowledge of evidence based practices preferred, such as motivational interviewing, CBT, co-occurring substance use disorders, and trauma informed treatment. We are seeking therapists who are available on Monday thru Sunday between 9am-9pm, shifts are flexible. Weekly supervision is provided both in individual and group settings.   


The ideal candidate is able to conduct bio-psycho-social-spiritual assessments, provide individual, group, couple and/ or family therapy. Attend weekly supervision. Work collaboratively with member care coordinator to provide case management services as needed for clients. To maintain up to date progress notes, correspondence regarding members, treatment plans and termination summaries within expected timeframes. Participating in utilization review and quality improvement review create efficient systems and procedures that integrate our members. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is an opportunity to come in on the ground floor as one of the early members of our Clinical Team. You will need to be comfortable with thinking big, moving quickly, paying attention to detail, and challenging convention. 


What You’ll Do…


A Clinician/Psychotherapist helps AGAPE Family Therapy and Coaching coordinate members wellness plans. The day-to-day work of a Clinician/Psychotherapist:

  • Engages, assesses, develops goals and tracks efficacy of intervention and evaluates progress of clients
  • Assesses for mental health concerns, family conflict, marital conflict, teen and adolescent issues
  • Assesses motivation and self efficacy of clients in their wellness plan
  • Schedules appointments for consultations and other healthcare/wellness services
  • Creates and maintains client records
  • Prepares client files for evaluation and services
  • Communicating with clients about their status and condition through emails and virtual one-on-one’s
  • Manages client’s accounts with contact information, insurance and financial information in a confidential manner
  • Ensures services comply with policies and procedures
  • Developing content for marketing materials and engagement
  • Participating in speaking engagements, trainings and workshops, and subscriptions (e.g. Psychology Today)


What You’ll Bring 


  • Licensed as an LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, or LCSW
  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
  • Time management skills
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Clinical Skills that embody courageous, authentic, open and trustworthy communications
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple and various interdisciplinary professionals and wellness providers

Other Requirements:

  • Minimum Education/Requirements: Must be licensed in New York State: LCSWs, LCATs, LMHCs, LMFTs. Supervision provided.
  • Telehealth only and undergo background clearances prior to contracting with Agape.
