Description

Required Qualifications

  • Must have successfully completed a North Carolina state-approved Medication Aide training program for Adult Care Homes
  • Must have passed the North Carolina Medication Aide exam and be listed on the Medication Aide Registry for Adult Care Homes
  • Demonstrated competency in medication administration and documentation
  • Ability to pass a background check and be in good standing with the Health Care Personnel Registry
  • Ability to complete required clinical skills validation by a Registered Nurse prior to working independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Medication Aide in assisted living or long-term care (strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record of reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and resident care skills
  • Experience working with memory care residents is a plus
