  • Ensure workmanship meets Aervivo’s quality standards and complies with NEC/NESC and local codes.
  • Perform QA/QC inspections to verify installations match design specifications and as-built requirements.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and testing of cabling, fiber terminations, and network components.
  • Collaborate with the design team to provide feedback from the field that improves accuracy and constructability.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Produce clear field reports summarizing findings, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain organized documentation in shared systems (photos, drawings, redlines, reports).
  • Provide as-built markups and input for updating design packages after installation.
  • Coordinate with project managers and logistics teams on material needs and installation progress.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in telecom field engineering, structured cabling, or broadband installation.
  • Strong knowledge of fiber optic, Cat6, and low-voltage systems.
  • Ability to interpret and validate engineering drawings, construction prints, and site plans.
  • Familiarity with OSP/ISP construction methods, including conduit, raceways, aerial/underground routing, and equipment mounting.
  • Proficient with tools and instruments such as laser measurers, cable testers, OTDRs, and survey apps.
  • Working understanding of NEC/NESC codes and safety standards.
