About The Role
As an Area Sales Manager at Aequalend, you will be responsible for leading multiple mortgage production teams, while also developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales and service goals across the regions under your supervision. This role demands strong leadership, the ability to drive team performance across multiple branches, and a strategic mindset to optimize operations across the entire area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve area sales and service goals.
• Oversee the daily operations of multiple mortgage branches, driving sales and operational excellence.
• Coach, mentor, and train branch managers and their teams to optimize their performance.
• Actively contribute to the origination and closure of mortgage loans to support overall area performance.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies across all branches.
• Nurture relationships with clients and business partners, representing Aequalend in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience as an area sales manager or similar role in the mortgage industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage lending procedures, regulations, and the market area.
• Demonstrated success in sales, leadership, and strategic planning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with mortgage origination software and other related technology.
