We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. You will play a crucial role in maintaining payroll records, calculating wages, and resolving any payroll-related issues. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of payroll procedures and regulations. Responsibilities

·       Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements

·       Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information

·       Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades

·       Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime based on timesheets, shift differentials, and applicable laws

·       Monitor and track paid time off, sick leave, and other absences, ensuring accurate accruals and proper documentation

·       Resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies, collaborating with HR and finance departments as needed

·       Prepare and distribute payroll reports, summaries, and statements to management and employees

·       Stay up-to-date with changing payroll regulations and laws, ensuring compliance and suggesting process improvements where necessary

 

Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or a combination of education and work experience)

·       Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role

·       Strong knowledge of payroll processing procedures, laws, and regulations

·       Proficiency in payroll software/HRIS (e.g., ADP, SAP, Kronos, Paylocity) and MS Office, especially Excel

·       Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet strict deadlines

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Effective verbal and written communication skills

·       High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

·       Flexibility for interns to learn the position

Salary
