We're looking for an electrical engineer capable of designing, prototyping, and producing mixed signal circuits, from RF to analog to high-speed digital. The ideal candidate would have developed avionics for defense/aerospace projects. He/she should have hands-on lab experience, and extreme ownership attitude. The candidate should be capable of executing the design work from concept to environmental qualification and subsequent high-volume production.

Skills:

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Mixed signal design (analog/digital)
• High speed digital design (Ethernet, PCIe, USB, NVMe)
• Power systems design (buck/boost converters)
• Control systems design (inductive position sensing, H-bridge motor drivers)
• Circuit simulation (LTSpice)
• Schematic and layout capture (Cadence)
• Manufacturing and assembly quality (IPC class 3)
• Laboratory familiarity (oscilloscope, function generators, logic analyzers, ...)
• Environmental testing and qualification (MIL-STD-810)
• C/C++ basic embedded programming
• Python programming
• Linux OS
• Communication/teamwork
• Ownership
