About the role
We are hiring solar technicians at every level, from entry-level Tech I through experienced Lead. Our Site Lead and Field Supervisor positions are filled from within this role, so strong performers have a clear path to leading crews.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PV modules, trackers, combiner boxes, and inverters
- Troubleshoot DC and AC electrical issues using meters and diagnostic tools
- Diagnose and repair tracker systems and inverters
- Support commissioning, grid integration, and storm recovery work
- Replace failed components and verify system performance
- Follow NFPA 70E, LOTO, and site safety requirements
- Complete clear, accurate work orders and reports
What we're looking for
- Solar O&M or electrical field experience (entry-level candidates, veterans, and career changers are welcome)
- Working knowledge of DC/AC electrical systems and safe work practices
- OSHA 10 (OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or NABCEP a plus)
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel nationwide
- Reliability, ownership, and a commitment to doing it right the first time
- Lead candidates: experience running a crew, coordinating with site and customer contacts, and owning daily reporting
