The Lead Screen Printer is responsible for managing the daily production cycle of a screen printing workshop, including operating an automatic printing press when production capacity requires it. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and technical skills, as well as a commitment to quality and efficiency.

Description

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and supervise a team of screen printing operators
  • Manage the daily production schedule and ensure that all orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Operate an automatic printing press as the Lead Screen Printer when production capacity requires it
  • Set up and maintain screen printing equipment, including presses, screens, and dryers
  • Mix and prepare inks and other printing materials
  • Inspect printed products for quality and accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printing problems
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Comply with all safety regulations


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in screen printing
  • 1+ year in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of screen printing techniques and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to meet deadlines


Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment


Salary

$20 - $24 per hour
