Position Overview

AAG is actively seeking dedicated Surveillance Role Players to join our dynamic team supporting critical surveillance operations in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. As a Surveillance Role Player, you will play a crucial role in discreet surveillance, utilizing foot, vehicle, and combination techniques in support of the Intelligence Community and Federal or State Law Enforcement.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship: Required
  • Security Clearance: Current SECRET level for all Role Players
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year conducting discreet surveillance in support of the Intelligence Community, or Federal or State Law Enforcement.
  • Physical Requirements: Able to sit or stand for up to 2 hours, walk for up to 7 miles in one day, and engage in duties in various weather conditions.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid US driver’s license.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (verbal and listening comprehension).
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with surveillance equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Role Play Scenarios: Act as Role Players in scenarios involving 1 to 20 personnel, potentially working extended hours as needed.
  • Physical Performance: Meet physical requirements essential for role performance, including walking outdoors, driving skills, map & navigational skills, and performing duties in austere weather conditions.
  • Engage in Role-Play Scenarios: Conduct surveillance using foot, vehicle, and combination techniques.
  • Observation and Documentation: Observe and document student activities, providing timely and comprehensive feedback.
  • Equipment Support: Supply vehicles and communications equipment as required for surveillance.
  • Training Participation: Participate in scheduled training, including scenarios with extended hours, federal holidays, or overlapping courses.
  • Traffic Laws Adherence: Adhere to traffic laws with a primary focus on safety during surveillance activities.

Working Conditions

  • Surveillance Requirements: Mostly during normal duty hours; up to 10% may occur outside normal hours.
  • Training and Operations: Shall continue regardless of weather conditions, except in severe conditions deemed a safety issue.
