Position: Modeling & Simulation Engineer - RF/Signal Processing Specialist

Location: Reston, VA

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Advanced Applications Group LLC (AAG) is seeking a highly skilled Modeling & Simulation Engineer specializing in RF (Radio Frequency) and Signal Processing to support our Government Client in Reston, VA. This position requires a unique blend of expertise in creating and managing sophisticated simulation models to support the analysis and optimization of RF and signal processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced simulation models for RF and signal processing systems.
  • Analyze and interpret data from simulations to support system design and optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate simulation results into hardware and software solutions.
  • Continuously update and refine simulation models to reflect the latest technologies and methodologies.
  • Conduct validation and verification of models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in RF and signal processing domains.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.


  • Proven experience in modeling and simulation, with a focus on RF and signal processing.
  • Strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in simulation software and programming languages relevant to RF and signal processing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is a strict requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and application of simulation models in government or defense projects.
  • Familiarity with current trends and advancements in RF technologies and signal processing methodologies.
