Position: Electrical Engineer - Testing & Evaluation Specialist

Location: Reston, VA

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Advanced Applications Group LLC (AAG) is on the lookout for an Electrical Engineer with a specialization in Testing & Evaluation, particularly skilled in Chip Off testing, to support our Government Client in Reston, VA. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in the meticulous evaluation and testing of electrical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Testing & Evaluation (T&E) of various electrical systems and components.
  • Specialize in Chip Off testing, analyzing and evaluating chip-level components and systems.
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures for a wide range of electrical hardware.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to identify and resolve potential issues identified during testing.
  • Document test results, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations in all testing and evaluation processes.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, specifically in Testing & Evaluation.
  • Demonstrated capability in conducting Chip Off tests and analyses.
  • Familiarity with standard electrical testing equipment and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in a government or military setting, with a focus on electrical testing and evaluation.
  • Certifications or additional training in electrical testing and evaluation techniques.
