Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Advanced Applications Group LLC (AAG) is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer with a specialization in Electro-Mechanical Design to support our Government Client in Reston, VA. This role is crucial for designing and developing advanced electro-mechanical systems that meet rigorous performance and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative electro-mechanical systems, integrating electrical and mechanical components to create efficient and effective solutions.
  • Utilize a variety of engineering principles and tools for electro-mechanical design and development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of electro-mechanical designs into larger systems.
  • Conduct testing and validation of electro-mechanical designs to ensure performance, durability, and compliance with specifications.
  • Document the design process, including detailed technical specifications, testing procedures, and results.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in electro-mechanical engineering and apply this knowledge to improve design processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on electro-mechanical design.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and other tools relevant to electro-mechanical engineering.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and integration of the two.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and project documentation.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in the design and development of complex electro-mechanical systems, particularly in a government or defense setting.
  • Familiarity with modern fabrication processes, materials, and technologies.
