Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Advanced Applications Group LLC (AAG) is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer with a specialization in Electrical Prototyping to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in supporting our Government Client in Reston, VA, focusing on the development, testing, and implementation of advanced electrical prototypes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative electrical prototypes that align with project objectives and requirements.
  • Utilize advanced electrical engineering principles and techniques to create functional and efficient prototypes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers, to integrate electrical prototypes into larger systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of prototypes to ensure performance, safety, and reliability.
  • Document the design process, including detailed technical specifications, testing procedures, and results.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering and prototyping.
  • Provide expert advice and technical support throughout the prototype development process.


  • Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on electrical prototype development.
  • Strong proficiency in electronic design, circuit analysis, and prototyping techniques.
  • Familiarity with PCB design software and electronic fabrication processes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and project documentation.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is a strict requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and IoT devices.
  • Prior experience in a government or defense-related engineering role.
