Counter Intelligence Specialist

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Counterintelligence (CI) Specialist to contribute to our dynamic team in Sterling, VA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying, monitoring, and assessing foreign intelligence efforts, ensuring the protection of sensitive national security information. Responsibilities

• Identification and Monitoring: Identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence efforts attempting to collect sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities, and interests.
• Technology Threats: Assess threats posed by emerging technologies to U.S. operations and interests.
• Analytic Research: Apply understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities/activities and U.S. and foreign partner CI capabilities and TTPs for in-depth analytic research and production of all-source CI studies.
• Training Programs: Contribute to developing CI strategies; conduct, develop, produce, and present programs of instruction in specified collection operations TTPs, and related or supporting processes under DoD authorities.
• Risk Mitigation: Review reports to identify vulnerabilities and CI indicators; develop risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
• Graduate of In-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant counter-intelligence experience, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
• Demonstrated experience with collective, defensive, or offensive counter-intelligence
• Demonstrated experience identifying attack vectors and their mitigation
• Demonstrated experience with CI report drafting, briefing, and dissemination to customers
