Advanced Applications Group LLC (AAG) is actively seeking a Collection Operations Manager with a specialization in Planning to support our Government Client in Reston, VA. This critical role involves overseeing the planning and execution of strategic collection operations, ensuring effective intelligence gathering in support of national security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive collection plans to meet intelligence requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of collection operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with intelligence analysts and stakeholders to identify intelligence gaps and prioritize collection efforts.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of collection strategies and adjust as necessary to optimize results.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to collection teams, fostering high-performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing intelligence collection.
  • Stay updated on developments in collection technologies and methodologies, applying this knowledge to enhance operational planning.


  • Extensive experience in intelligence collection operations, with a strong focus on planning and strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex collection operations in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Intelligence Studies, National Security, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in a leadership role within intelligence collection or a related area.
  • Familiarity with current technologies and methodologies used in intelligence collection.
