MAJOR ACTIVITIES: 

The Crew Leader will read and familiarize with all specifications of each job, before starting the job, as well as performing the following:

1. To read and be familiar with all plans and specifications of each job, before starting the job
2. To direct and request needed personnel and subcontractors for timely project completions on all projects assigned, with assistance from the supervisor
3. To organize, direct, and request the proper equipment needed for timely project completion on all projects assigned
4. To continually review project progress, cost, schedules, and demands to complete
5. To determine and recommend changes in methods, schedules, and procedures and  improve where necessary
6. To know and strictly observe all safety rules and ensure that fellow workers observe all safety rules. Permits NO accidents
7. To ensure proper paper flow to and from the office
8. To suspend or dismiss any personnel and subcontractors on the contracts assigned  not performing according to pre-determined procedures or schedule as directed by the Supervisor
9. To submit time sheets and other written reports on an accurate and timely basis as required by the Supervisor
10. To Continuously train and evaluate the personnel under his direction 

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Previous experience with hardscape installation
2. Basic gardening knowledge
3. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
4. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
5. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
6. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in landscape construction
7. Physical endurance and strength – we are constantly lifting, carrying, and transporting materials.
8. Prior landscape construction, carpentry, and/or masonry experience
9. Ability to lift 85+ lbs
10. OSHA 30 certified/ SST required
11. A valid and clean driver’s license required
