What You’ll Do

• Partner directly with clients to understand business processes, goals, and challenges
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for engineering teams
• Create and maintain documentation such as:
• Business requirements
• Functional specifications
• Process flows and diagrams
• Collaborate closely with Senior Software Engineers and Architects to clarify requirements and answer questions
• Help manage scope by identifying gaps, assumptions, and dependencies early
• Participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, and solution discussions
• Support testing and validation by ensuring delivered solutions meet business expectations
• Act as an advocate for both the client and the delivery team

 

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
• Ability to translate business concepts into technical-friendly documentation
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to ask the right questions and challenge assumptions constructively
• Comfort working across multiple clients and projects
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt in environments with evolving or incomplete requirements
• High emotional intelligence, humility, and self-awareness
• Curiosity and a desire to continuously improve processes and outcomes

 

What Would Be Nice

• Experience working in a consulting environment
• Exposure to software development lifecycles
• Familiarity with .NET, web applications, or SQL-based systems
• NetForum AMS experience
• Association or nonprofit industry experience
• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery models
• Experience creating process diagrams or workflow documentation
• Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar)

$70,000 - $90,000
