Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our fully remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, responsible for generating and qualifying leads, and setting the foundation for strong client relationships. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of protecting sensitive data within Salesforce environments for organizations worldwide.


This is a 100% remote position with occasional travel for team meetings, conferences, or client events.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients through outbound calls, emails, and social platforms to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and readiness
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in Salesforce
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute lead-generation campaigns
  • Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings
  • Performance Tracking: Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for meetings booked and qualified leads


Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a sales or business development role (SaaS or B2B preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (works and plays well with others)
  • Self-sufficient with a strong internal sense of urgency
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Sees failure as a learning opportunity for improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)


Bonus Points For

  • Prior experience in cybersecurity, Salesforce, or compliance-heavy industries
  • Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, or similar
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN, BANT, or MEDDIC

Compensation


  • Base Salary range from $45,000 - $65,000 (based on qualifications)
  • On target earnings from $70,000 - $90,000
