Position Overview:
We are looking for someone to provide direct face to face Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to adolescents and young adults with autism in their home, community, and in clinic.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., preference assessment, functional assessment, skill based assessment, etc.)
- Design, implement, and monitor skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs
- Research literature related to specific learners’ programs
- Oversee the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by BTs and caregivers
- Be willing and able to supervise others seeking BCBA certification weekly
- Analyze and summarize results of assessments and graphs results as needed
- Write 6-month progress reports to secure insurance funding
- Provide staff and caregiver training
- Facilitate team meetings for a learner monthly
- Create or update the data collection system
- Be available to answer questions from technicians working on learners’ cases
- Answer emails and phone calls from caregivers
- Follow up with the caregivers to ensure the generalization of learner objectives
- Adjust and update learners’ programs as skills meet the criteria
- Complete and submit documentation in a timely matter to our billing agency
Required Skills & Experience
- Master's degree, BCBA, and LABA license
- 2 year experience working with special needs population and/or ABA as a BCBA
- Reliable transportation, local travel during business hours may be required
