Description
What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operating forklifts (standup and sit down) and other material handling equipment
- Receiving incoming materials and verifying shipment accuracy
- Preparing outgoing shipments and completing shipping paperwork
- Creating and processing Bills of Lading and shipping documents
- Entering shipping and receiving information into company systems
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Staging materials for shipment and warehouse storage
- Performing inventory-related tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Driving a company truck between facilities approximately once per day (less than 30 minute drive)
- Following all safety procedures and company policies
- Keeping work areas organized and efficient
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class B CDL required
- Forklift experience required
- Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Mathematical knowledge
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Schedule
- Approximately 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Monday through Friday
Pay & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour
- Increase to $19.00 per hour upon permanent hire
