Description

Job Summary: Client is a leading developer of laser and electro-optic systems for the aerospace community, with key contributions to lasers for atmospheric sensing, laser communications, and lidar sensors for NASA, DoD, and commercial customers. Use your electrical engineering skills to drive solutions that will pioneer new ways to create the future of space exploration and build electro-optical systems to push boundaries for NASA and DoD.


Job Duties:

You’ll work on multiple projects with diverse timelines in an R&D environment. 

You will work within a collaborative environment while empowered to make decisions in your area of expertise. 

You will have the benefit of both your team and senior leadership support. 

This will also include supporting project management by engaging with customers through technical interchange meetings and contributing to technical proposals. 

You will be flexible and can work on multiple concurrent projects, with a mix of small, short, quick-turn projects and more extensive, long-term projects.

The successful candidate will contribute to the following:

- Circuit board development

- Integration and test of embedded electronics systems

- Cable and harness design

- Preparation of test reports, design documents, and other documentation as necessary


Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

- Experience with embedded electronics

- We are seeking engineers at multiple levels, with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.

- Experience in an R&D environment is preferred.

- U.S. Citizenship is required

Salary

$65,000 - $185,000 per year
