Accounted Client Accounting Manager Remote · Full time Company website

As a Client Accounting Manager, you’ll combine hands-on accounting with review, coaching and client leadership. You’ll own a portfolio of clients while supporting and developing the Associates in your pod, ensuring work is accurate, timely and useful to the businesses we serve. This is still a hands-on accounting role. You’ll review and elevate Associate work, step into more complex accounting issues, lead higher-level client conversations and help your team develop the judgment and confidence to take increasing ownership. You won’t just review work after it’s done. You’ll keep clients, deadlines and people moving - identifying issues early, coaching through problems and making sure nothing quietly falls through the cracks.

Description

Who We Are

At Accounted, we believe financial clarity changes everything.

We’re a modern, tech-forward accounting firm providing full-service accounting and financial guidance to small business owners. We handle the day-to-day, keep the numbers accurate and organized and help our clients understand what’s happening in their business and what comes next.

We’re not a traditional accounting firm with outdated processes and mandatory overtime. We’re responsive. Thoughtful. Proactive. Human.

And we’re highly organized. We believe in proven, repeatable systems, clear communication and doing great work without creating unnecessary complexity.

How We Work

In our model, Client Accounting Associates lead day-to-day client relationships and execution. As the Client Accounting Manager, your role is to ensure the work delivered by your pod is accurate, insightful, complete and delivered on time - while coaching and developing the Associates behind it.

You’ll step in for complex situations, but your goal isn’t to become the person everyone depends on for every answer. You’ll help Associates strengthen their judgment, confidence and ownership so they can increasingly solve problems and move work forward independently.

Our Values

  • Helping People - We make things clearer, easier and better for the people behind the business.
  • Doing The Right Thing - We value integrity and use it to guide us through complex situations. We are resolute - we do what we say and we stand by our word.
  • Confident Boundaries - We’re clear, honest and respectful. We hold space for great client relationships without overextending ourselves or compromising on what matters.
  • Figuring Things Out - We’re resourceful problem-solvers - whatever comes up, we figure it out. Our curiosity and creativity help us find the best path forward.
  • Practical Excellence - We strive for excellence with common sense. We know when precision matters - and when flexibility leads to better outcomes.
