As Senior Platform Engineer, you will execute backend development for Acclinate’s eDICT platform and supporting services. Your primary responsibility will be to implement platform features with a focus on data, integration and API development . You will report to the VP of Product and Technology, working with eDICT’s Engineering Lead, Product Manager and other engineers to deliver each release . This is a US-based, remote eligible position. Limited travel will be expected. South East-based candidates preferred.

Responsibilities
- Participate in product and release planning processes by providing estimates of technical feasibility of e-DICT product features
- Support Engineering Lead in identifying / exploring solution options for new feature implementation
- Contribute to technical design artifacts - e.g. solution architecture options, data modeling, API specifications, etc. - to guide development of features
- Execute high-priority development tasks as a part of the engineering team (e.g. product development, environment staging, platform deployment, unit test development, troubleshooting etc.)
- Perform code reviews and approvals for junior developers and / or external development partners
- Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members
Qualifications
- 3+ years as backend/platform engineer; full-stack is a plus;
- Demonstrated proficiency with cloud-native platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable), with experience using data/analytics-specific services
- Experience building event driven systems with a mircoservice architecture
- Experience developing APIs, data pipelines
- Experience working with Relational databases and PLSQL
- Demonstrated experience in developing NodeJS and TypeScript
- Experience working in agile environments and leveraging supporting agile stacks (e.g. Jira/Confluence)
- Experience developing solutions in healthcare or other highly regulated industries preferred
