Assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders in school and clinic setting. Timely completion of paperwork related to evaluation and treatment. Clinical fellows welcome.
Description
Job duties include the following:
- Evaluating speech and language disorders
- Identifying treatment options
- Creating and carrying out individualized treatment plans addressing specific functional needs
- Helping individuals improve sentence structure and vocabulary used in written and oral language
- Counseling individuals and families on ways to cope with communication disorders
- Assessment and implementation of AAC programs (training provided)
- Neurodiversity-positive practice training provided
- Location in East Providence and surrounding area, minimal travel (in-school vs in-clinic) compensation
Salary
$45 - $50 per hour
