Job Title: Operations Manager

Reports to: CEO

Key Responsibilities


1. Operational Leadership

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of security and private detective services.

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, particularly those related to security and firearms.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.

• Lead the scheduling and deployment of security officers and investigative personnel.

2. Team Management

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training of security personnel, private detectives, and other staff members.

• Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance staff performance.

• Conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions when necessary.

• Foster a positive and professional work environment.

3. Client Relations and Contracts

• Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

• Coordinate with clients to ensure that services are being delivered as promised.

• Develop and maintain client relationships to promote additional business opportunities.

4. Technology and Innovation

• Oversee the integration and use of technology to enhance service delivery, such as real-time tracking systems, communication devices, and security software.

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technology to ensure API remains competitive and innovative.

5. Budget and Financial Management

• Assist in budget planning and management for operations.

• Optimize the allocation of resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and high operational performance.

• Monitor expenses and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality services are delivered within budget.

6. Risk Management and Safety

• Identify potential risks to operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Implement and oversee safety protocols for all operational activities.

• Ensure that all security personnel are fully equipped and trained in safety measures and client-specific protocols.

7. Reporting and Analytics

• Prepare regular reports on operational performance, financials, and other KPIs for the CEO.

• Analyze data to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

8. Compliance and Legal

• Ensure the company adheres to all regulatory requirements, particularly in terms of firearms, security, and private investigation operations.

• Maintain thorough records related to licenses, training certifications, and other legal documents required for operations.


Qualifications


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the security, private investigation, or law enforcement industries.

• Skills:
