Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Armed Security Officers/Guards to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, exceptional observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible deterrent against crime and conduct regular patrols of client properties.
• Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness and remain vigilant at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and company regulations regarding the use of firearms.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in criminal justice or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an armed security officer or in a similar role.
• Valid Maryland Security Guard Certification and Firearms Permit required.
• Proficiency in the use of firearms and other security equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, and a security assessment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
