A to Z Rental, a trusted equipment rental business in Eden Prairie, MN, is seeking a full-time Mechanic and Equipment Specialist to join our team! This role is perfect for someone with mechanical aptitude, a hands-on work ethic, and a passion for maintaining and repairing rental equipment.

A to Z Rental is a small, tight-knit company with a handful of employees who work well together. We are dedicated to providing top-notch rental equipment and excellent customer service to our community. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair rental equipment (small tools, landscaping equipment, construction equipment, etc.).
• Assist customers with equipment rentals, including loading and unloading gear.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Keep the rental yard and shop organized and operational.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts - 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday.
• One day off in the middle of the week.
• Every other weekend.
• Saturday 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Sunday 9:00am - 1:00pm

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical interest or experience (small engines, power tools, or construction equipment a plus).
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 60 lbs).
• Customer service skills and a team-player mindset.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability and willingness to work two weekends per month.
• Driver's license and ability to operate work vehicles.
