Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Crew Leader to supervise and work alongside a team performing professional landscaping and grounds maintenance services. This position requires strong leadership skills, hands-on experience, and the ability to ensure quality workmanship while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Landscaping Crew Duties:
- Lead and supervise a crew performing landscaping and property cleanup services
- Perform and oversee bed edging and mulching
- Remove weeds and maintain plant beds
- Trim shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plants
- Perform limited trimming of smaller trees (e.g., crape myrtles)
- Ensure properties are left clean and professionally maintained
Mowing Crew Duties (if assigned):
- Operate commercial mowers safely and efficiently
- Use blowers and string trimmers for edging around sidewalks, curbs, and other hard surfaces
- Maintain consistent mowing patterns and professional appearance standards
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and handled safely
Qualifications:
- Previous landscaping or commercial mowing experience required
- Experience leading and managing a crew preferred
- Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
