JOB SUMMARY: 

The role of the maintenance crew members is to maintain the professional presentation and sanitation quality of their assigned work site. The work duties entail the tasks of cleaning both wall, glass, and floor surfaces, trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping. Cleaning dirty linen and restocking dispensary supplies. Other duties may be required per supervised.                                        

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced candidates who possess job related cleaning experience are highly preferred for this position.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday evenings between 5pm and 10pm approximately 20-25 hours per week.
• Attendance consistency and punctuality are required.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 30 lbs. as necessary.
• Moderate physical activities, which may include pulling, pushing, lifting, reaching, bending and repetitive movements.
• Must be able to work independently and demonstrate team cooperation skills.
• Must be able to assess and solve problems.
• Must be comfortable cleaning up after others including cleaning up a variation of wastes and spills.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

 

 

WORK REPONSIBILITIES:         

• Maintain the presentation of the janitorial and storage closet.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies so they are clean and in a safe and operable condition.
• Clean all public areas including entryways, lobby, reception, and staff break room areas, kitchens, elevators and stairwells.
• Reset client’s working spaces by arranging furniture to its original layout and arranging paper materials in a neat professional look.
• Empty all trash cans, replace liners and clean interior and exterior of wastebins as needed.
• High and low dust and remove cobwebs.
• Clean tabletops, counter tops, drinking fountains, sinks, interior and exterior surfaces of small appliances such as microwaves, and exterior surfaces of refrigerators, stove tops, and coffee units, remove fingerprints and soil from doors and glass and any other accessible human contact surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock dispenser supplies.
• Remove markings from walls, floor, and furniture surfaces.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floor surfaces.
• Perform other duties as requested or required by management.
