Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Safety:
- Monitor and supervise children during overnight stays, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Engagement and Activities:
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities to keep children
engaged during late-night hours.
Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for children.
- Bedtime Routines:
Assist in preparing children for bedtime routines, including
hygiene practices.
Ensure a calm and comfortable environment for sleep.
- Communication:
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other staff members regarding children's activities and well-being.
Collaborate with the team to maintain open lines of
communication.
- Cleanliness and Organization:
Ensure cleanliness and organization of play and sleep areas.
Assist with light cleaning duties as needed.
- Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of children's activities, behaviors, and any incidents during the overnight stay.
Complete required documentation for each child.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in childcare or a related field is preferred.
CPR certification is required.
Ability to work late nights and overnight shifts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
Working Hours:
Rotational shifts between 5:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Full-time and part-time positions are available.
$15 - $18 per hour
