The Welcome Desk Team Member is the face of 5.Life. You are the first voice guests hear when they walk through the door and the last impression they leave with. This isn’t just a front desk job; it’s a sales and hospitality role that requires showing up professionally, engaging guests authentically, and helping people find their way into the sport and community we’ve built.
We’re looking for people who want a job, not just a place to climb. If you love the gym as a member, that’s great, but this role demands reliability, professionalism, and a genuine drive to serve others, whether or not you’re on the wall yourself.
Reports to: Facility Manager & Assistant Manager

- Respond to guest questions about the facility, offerings, and policies clearly and confidently
Facility & Operations
- Maintain rental equipment — inspect, clean, and organize gear before and after each shift
- Manage and merchandise the retail space; keep it clean, stocked, and shoppable
- Control the flow of the gym — monitor capacity, waivers, and check-in processes
- Complete pre- and post-shift tasks as assigned by shift supervisor or Facility Manager
- Treat the facility as if you were welcoming guests into your own home — your standard for cleanliness and order should be that high

- Stay current on facility policies and communicate them to guests with clarity and confidence
- Maintain Safe Sport certification within 30 days of hire
