Description

Three Tone Enterprise is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support the VP of Logistics in coordinating transportation activities across the organization. This is a logistics and transportation-focused administrative role — not a warehouse position. The successful candidate will be comfortable on the phone, skilled at building relationships with carriers and drivers, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced office setting.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Source, recruit, and onboard new carriers, owner-operators, and drivers to meet company transportation needs
  • Conduct outbound phone calls and outreach to identify and qualify transportation partners
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with carriers, drivers, and freight providers
  • Support daily logistics operations, freight scheduling, and transportation coordination
  • Maintain transportation documentation, carrier records, contracts, and compliance files
  • Liaise with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries and timely issue resolution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, customer service, and distribution teams

Qualifications:


  • Strong verbal communication skills with confidence conducting phone-based outreach throughout the day
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships with customers, vendors, carriers, or service providers
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, dispatching, freight brokerage, carrier relations, or recruiting preferred
  • Familiarity with transportation regulations and logistics operations is a plus


Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of administrative, logistics, transportation, dispatching, recruiting, or customer service experience in a professional office setting
  • Comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday on phone and email communication
  • Ability to work in an office environment while managing multiple competing priorities


Salary

$16 - $25 per hour
