The 808 Ranch
The 808 Ranch started in 2020 along the lower Elk River near Anderson, Missouri. Today we run three locations across southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. We are a forward-thinking, retail-focused Black Angus seedstock operation. Our program is built around what we call Precision Genetics, connecting practical ranch production with the traits and carcass characteristics valued by the retail consumer. We run more than 500+ registered cows with the vision to scale well beyond that and use IVF, sexed semen, embryo transfer, DNA and genomic testing, and disciplined performance data collection. We are also building a commercial cow-calf enterprise aimed at beef production. We are a family enterprise and a working ranch with an open door. We host school groups, youth programs, aspiring ranchers, customers, and friends, we support local FFA and 4-H, and we hold two production sales a year. How we care for our cattle, our land, and each other matters to us as much as what we produce.
