Public Water Supply District 2 of St. Charles County is the largest public water supply district in Missouri. Starting in 1974 the District has grown substantially, now serving 42,730 water customers and 14,971 sewer customers. The District is located approximately 30 miles west of downtown St. Louis. The District encompasses approximately 441 square miles which includes a major portion of the southwest quarter of St. Charles County and a portion of eastern Warren County. The District serves all or portions of the communities of Lake St. Louis, O’Fallon, Dardenne Prairie, Weldon Spring, Dutzow, Augusta, Wentzville, New Melle, Defiance, Foristell, Wright City and Innsbrook. The District currently have 18 employees that handle the billing, collections, capital project engineering, customer service, and management of the District.
