Our Vision: We envision a future where every student receives the support they need, when they need it. Our Mission: Through its technology PurpleSENSE, ProUnitas helps school districts identify and respond to student needs in a more timely and integrated way so that every student is supported, stays in school and graduates with a purpose. Our North Star: By 2035, ProUnitas aims to reduce chronic absenteeism and the incidence of student crises in its partner communities by 50%. The Problem We Are Tackling: Too many students face non-academic barriers such as mental health challenges, housing instability, and food insecurity. These barriers prevent them from attending, engaging, and succeeding in school. While many support services exist, they are often fragmented, reactive, and difficult to access at the moment of need. In the absence of a coordinated infrastructure like PurpleSENSE, access often depends on chance: whether a caring adult notices, follows up, or knows how to connect a student to the right help. This creates a problem, where some students are supported quickly, and others are entirely overlooked.
