National Democratic Redistricting Committee & Affiliates

The National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC) and its affiliate organizations (the National Redistricting Action Fund and National Redistricting Foundation) are the first-ever strategic hub for a comprehensive redistricting strategy focused on building our democracy into one where voters pick their politicians, not the other way around. We deploy a full suite of tools at both national and state levels to protect the fair maps we achieved, prevent anti-democratic Republican efforts to gerrymander maps and undermine our democracy, and propel toward fair redistricting and a representative democracy. These tools include filing lawsuits, electing Democracy Defenders to state-level office, supporting redistricting reforms, building state-of-the-art mapping tools, achieving a fair and accurate census and building a grassroots movement to safeguard our democracy.
