Founded on August 15, 2005 in Salem, MA, Jaho has grown from a small local business into an international brand known for its commitment to quality and community. We began roasting our own coffee in 2007, setting the stage for our unique blend of flavors and experiences. In 2011, Jaho opened its first Boston location in the South End neighborhood. Since then we have grown to seven locations across Massachusetts and an international presence with a store in Tokyo, Japan. Jaho's philosophy is rooted in the concept of slow life, reflected in our slogan "Live Slow." This ethos underpins our approach to business, emphasizing positive impacts on the communities we serve, our team members, our customers, and coffee farmers and other suppliers. We draw inspiration from human connection, a love of travel, and genuine hospitality. Our cafes blend elements of European, American, and Japanese cafe cultures, creating a distinctive and welcoming atmosphere. Throughout its history, Jaho has garnered multiple awards, a testament to its commitment to quality and innovation in the coffee industry. As it continues to grow, Jaho remains dedicated to its founding principles, serving as a hub for community and connection in an increasingly fast-paced world.
