Faith in Action is the largest faith-based grassroots organizing network in the United States. For more than 50 years, we have brought people of faith together to advance racial and economic justice. Our mission is to build power, transform people, institutions, and communities through the development of powerful, self-interested, confident, competent, and collaborative leaders who express and act on their faith and values in public life. Our network includes 60+ local organizations and 1,200+ congregations across the country, empowering communities to influence the public and corporate decisions that shape their lives. Faith in Action has a strong record of winning meaningful policy change at the local, state, and federal levels—from expanding access to health care and strengthening public education to protecting homeowners and advancing good, dignified jobs. By connecting people-powered organizing in communities across 18 states with coordinated national advocacy, we work to advance citizenship, dismantle mass incarceration, and promote equity for all.
